PBCo Mornington
Wine time!!
When friends of Open Architecture mentioned they were opening a bottle shop and wine bar it’s fair to say we were extremely excited! The clients leased a tired looking shop front in the heart of Mornington and came to OA for advice on how to reinvigorate the space. Working with a shoe-string budget the clients were very hands-on with the fit out, exposing brickwork and putting together much of the joinery themselves. Along the way elements of the design were adjusted and simplified to suit budgetary constraints and carpentry skills. Hopefully PBCo goes gang-busters and in a few years time we’ll be working on PBCo 2.0.
In the meantime, I’d recommend the Pinot Grigio…
